Le Chateau is my painted interpretation of my own art studio—the place where so many of my paintings begin.

I imagined the exterior as a little world of its own: a blue door beneath a moonlit sky, surrounded by winding trees, abundant foliage, flowers, berries, and an old stone wall. There is something slightly mysterious about it, but also peaceful and welcoming—as though this little studio has been tucked away in the garden for a very long time, quietly waiting for someone to discover it.

For me, Le Chateau is more than a painting of a building. It represents the place where imagination lives, where ordinary days become color and texture, and where I get to disappear into the work for a while.
