Black & White Vase Series, no. 5 9x9” framed

The Black & White Vase Series has been growing into one of my favorite collections to create. I’ve been exploring the contrast between bold black and white, using expressive shapes, layered textures, and loose botanical elements to create something that feels both modern and timeless.

Each piece begins with the same limited palette, but the paintings take on their own personality as they develop. I’m especially enjoying the freedom of letting each vase evolve naturally—adding foliage, flowers, texture, and little details until the composition feels right. This series is still unfolding, and I’m excited to see where it goes next. 🖤🤍 These also make fun sets! 9x9" framed as shown.
